I'm going to use one of the currently best selling ones on amazon as an example – E550i-A0 (click to see on amazon)

E is used to discern between features (E: Entry, M: Mid, P:4K, R:Reference) E series are more cost effective and M have more features.

55 refers to the size.  Size options vary by series and include 19,24,26,29,32,37,39,42,47,50,55,60,65,70,80.

I know you want to see the 80-inch immediately so you can start to figure out how to afford it so here is the VIZIO M801d-A3 80-Inch.

0 or 1 immediately after the size refers to the series it was released in so a 0 would be the first series and a 1 would be a later series.

i or d refers to connectivity (i: internet connected with apps, d: 3D). If there is no letter here the TV doesn't have these features.

A0 suffix refers to which warehouse the TV was manufactured in and what retailer it was sold to.  I was unable to determine precise correlations on this but it should be irrelevant in terms of helping decide which to purchase.  Suffixes that I’ve seen include A0,A1,A2,A2R,A3,A3R.
